We were awakened at 1:30am by blaring fire alarms due to a terrible leak in our upstairs bathroom that had been flooding so long it busted through our ceiling and flooded our entire downstairs, after I came to I started looking for HELP!! I googled water restoration and the FIRST CHOICE name stood out. I called and Aaron answered the phone at 3am with empathy and concern. First Choice Water Damage Experts will be my go to for any future water issues in the house. Aaron is knowledgeable, effective, and completely transparent about costs for his services.
We had a water leak from a dishwasher that had soaked part of a wood floor. We called another larger service and after a quick test of a few spots with a moisture meter and without going into the crawlspace to inspect subfloor, he gave us a preliminary cost range of $2500 – $3500 to put drying equipment in both the kitchen and the crawlspace.
We then called First Choice, and Aaron came out and tested multiple spots around the kitchen and then the crawlspace documenting the readings with his phone camera. It turned out the subfloor was dry and we only needed the wood flooring dried. Aaron gave us a quote for 3 days and 5 days of drying, including visits to do dryness tests, which were both a fraction of the range quoted by the other service. At the end he once again documented all the readings to show everything was dry.
Aaron was great at explaining the whole process and there were no hidden costs or upsells. I would trust him again for any future issues and highly recommend him.

Paul Davis Company was a godsend for my family? A water line to a new refrigerator ice machine split at night, and in the morning when I came downstairs there were a couple inches of water? I called and spoke to Lauren and she was extremely helpful and professional. Within a half hour the crew David, Cam, Richard and Antonio were onsite with dryers and vacuums to suck the excess water out of the rug. David was extremely thorough in his options to first calm us down then to provide a path forward? Jump ahead about 2 months and new carpet is in, and they just finished unloading the boxes? They even brought little plastic slippers for their feet to insure they didn’t harm the brand new carpet? These guys were good, very good. I strongly recommended Paul Davis Co. You won’t be sorry they are professional and solid from beginning to end?

I would encourage one to research and look into other restoration companies first before settling here. It’s been almost two years since they started my restoration from a fire and they are still having to come out and make repairs from the sloppy craftsmanship of the workers. My fixtures are cheap and always coming apart. I’ve have several leaks in my ceiling and even my bathroom floor had to ripped up because they drove a nail in a pipe causing my hallway to flood, all after we moved back in. It’s been a real nightmare dealing with these guys. Not to mention I have damaged property from where they did work and didn’t protect my belongings that were in close proximity. I had to move back in my home while they were still working in it because it had been over a year since they started restoration and my insurance accommodations were exhausted. I’ve had 3 flat tires from nails and debris they leave in my yard. And to top it off they had the nerve to call me to tell me I owed them money. Smh. My house is worse than before but the hassle of working with them has left me disappointed and discouraged. I am not happy with the outcome of my home.

After suspecting a mold issue in my home and trying several things to resolve it, I called Restoration 1 and spoke to Todd. He was so kind and helpful. He asked me a lot of questions and was able to schedule a same-day appointment with Anthony and Javier to inspect.
To say I was blown away is an understatement. Anthony knows his stuff. He also asked me a lot of questions, and we went through my house to inspect. He was incredibly thorough and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he was respectful and spoke to me, not at me. We did find mold spores, and he performed air quality testing.
To say I HIGHLY recommend Restoration 1, and Anthony is an understatement. It was nice to see someone who cares about their job and their customers and wants them to be truly happy.

Water Damage Pros responded to our call about a dehumidifier water leak immediately and came the next morning. They removed the wood floor, moving many items and furniture as they moved through the basement until they were sure they reached all of the areas that were wet. They treated the cement below with an anti-microbial solution and left industrial fans blowing until all was dry as determined by moisture meters. Steve and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, polite, careful with our property, and effectively removed the water, the damaged wood, and the potential for mold growth. Hopefully, we won’t experience something like that again, but if we do, we will call Water Damage Pros.

After a tree fell on our house early Thursday morning they responded very quickly and began the drying out process minimizing the ceiling damage.
